XU Wenbin

Wenbin XUis an associate professor working at the China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). He is born in in 1985, Jiangxi Province, China, W.B. Xu received his BA, MA and P.h.D (MiningEngineering) at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2008, 2010 and 2013. He served as an Associate Professor at School of Energy and Mining Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing since 2013, and also as a visiting scholar at University of Ottawa (Canada). Xu has extensive experience on a range of mining projects, and has taken more than 20 researchand mining projects in China. His research interests include CPB technology, analysis of slope stability, mine waste disposal, ground control in coal mining, etc. Dr. Xu has authored 2 books and over 50 refereed journal papers, including selected 10 papers as follows:
